Flight Brigade - Our Friends Our Enemies
Think of Flight Brigade as a family as much as a seven-strong band and you start to understand the chemistry between them.
Think of their songs as epic stories to which each member is essential and you begin to grasp what makes their music so powerful.
Watch them perform and you can’t fail to be struck by the special bond they share. Flight Brigade’s strength in numbers suits the scope of their songs. The grand orchestral sweeps, the crunching anthemic guitars, the striking mix of male and female have brought comparisons to Arcade Fire and Of Monsters and Men.
In 2015, with rave reviews for their EP, Stealing Fire, along with Record of the Day’s “the best unsigned band we saw live at The Great Escape”, they performed at 16 festivals, including Bestival and Glastonbury.
Lead track ‘When We Were Young’ had its video premiere on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch and received radio play on 6 Music, Radio X “Shock of the New” and BBC Radio 2.
As 2016 opened Flight Brigade were named one of Time Out’s Rising Stars. They released their U Kill Me EP as a prelude to their debut album release and Channel 4 once again featured “When We Were Young” – this time on Made In Chelsea! "Our Friends Our Enemies" is the long awaited debut album released on the band's own, Rebel Cinema Records. The band are currently on a major UK tour prior to their first tour of Germany and Holland in November and December supporting Poets of the Fall. The band has just returned from a sold out show at the Reeperbahn Festival where they made their International debut to rave reviews!

Reviews
“Flight Brigade offer a big sweeping stunner of a song with Hurricane Season… the track grabs you from its very first beat, draws you into a whirlwind of instruments and voices and beautifully blends pop elements with edgier, rougher rock pieces into one gorgeous song”.- Glam Glare“…smack-bang into that global radio-friendly crossover territory usually inhabited by Imagine Dragons and The Killers” - Record of the Day
“On a warpath to making history… a bit of Muse, compared to My Morning Jacket, but ultimately what we hear is a dark, orchestral, and narrative-driven tour de force.” - New Sick Music
“The London via Hampshire collective have a direct, driving sound, one that bears comparison to Arcade Fire but also has the crunch of Twin Atlantic. New single 'Hurricane Season' boasts an orchestral swell, while the songwriting has a real punch to it”. Clash Music Mag
“There’s no other band like Flight Brigade on the scene at the moment and that’s what makes them so special… ones to watch in 2016” - Drunken Werewolf
“A rare talent that calls to mind early Arcade Fire.” - God Is In The TV
“…they knock it right out of the park again with this total barnstormer of a tune ("Hurricane Season")…This punchy, crunchy drive time anthem is as solid as a rock. Simply incredible.” - Record of the Day
